Bismillah.
Simplistict. I dont even know whether my spelling is correct or not. But this is the quite a perfect word for most muslim in Malaysia. Ok,maybe it's too harsh to say most so I change to some muslim.
Anyhow,that's the word that i think. Simplistict.
For instance, current government is not islamic enough. Corruption are everywhere. The law is not islamic enough. Therefore, the solution is change the government and that's it. Easy isn't it? Let me raise one thing, what happen after that? The government changed and the rules are changed but what happen to the most important things which are the peoples? Are they automatically transform into perfect muslim when the government changed? I dont think so my friends.
Another situation, islamic financial. There are lot of thing are being said right now especially about islamic finance. Gold/silver dinar to be frank. I'm not against for those who said gold/silver is a good investment but to the extend said current money is haram and current islamic bank is the back door of riba? Come on lads, that's what we called harsh.
Both situation are from two different grounds. Politics and economic. In fact, it not just politic but law as well. Both are muamalat issue in islam not ibadah. Both fields need to learn thoroughly before we can make accusition.
Try to understand the CONTEXT and dont be simplistict. It just not good even as a human.

1. With all due respect, the correct spelling is "simplistic".
2. Perhaps it is useful for you to talk to Pakatan People when they come over, especially the younger ones like YB Nik Nazmi who comes to the UK quite often.
3. Islamic finance is one very, very large topic. There are moral as well as financial dimensions that needs to be taken into account, other than the obvious religious (in the secular sense of the word) dimensions to it. To first understand the system (necessary before commenting) I suggest you look at how the takaful system (and all the models that exist within that system) works and what debates are taking place, as I think it is the simplest one to look into (and also the most Islamic). And there's also an annual Takaful summit in London in summer that you might want to go to if you're into it.
I applaud the call to look into context before doing anything, but we also need knowledge and, more importantly, understanding.

actually, this entry are not intended to those higher up. I know they have clear view but it's more to the below people. The young ones. They are emotional about Islamic country but that's what they say. No further action and sometimes their behaviour is not showing that they wish an Islamic country.
Yes, it's true indeed what are you saying. In fact there is Seminar sistem-sistem Islam at Birmingham in April last year and there will be another one this year as well and I'm looking for it. But again the problem is with those people who are dont understand this things. If you aware and I think you are, there are some group in Malaysia and the whole world I think keep saying that Duit kertas is haram and Islamic banking is the back door of riba. They even accuse the scholar that support Islamic banking and duit kertas as a bad scholar. It just make me sad seeing this kind of peoples.
well, the simplest conclusion might be:
the pure (Islamic) system won't work in dirty (secular) surrouding =D
simple but yet the process is not so easy afterall.
