Isteri dan kehidupan

Bismillah,

Surprisingly, politics at Malaysia for about a decade has all about sex life of none other, Anwar Ibrahim. Please name me another country that actually beat Malaysia on this one. Anyone knows about it? I really want to know.

Anyway, I dont want to say lot about those thing. I dont even know who right or wrong. Life is too short to just talk about other people sex scandal.

However, I do find it's interesting about his wife who is Wan Azizah. It has been 11 years(more or less) Anwar being accused doing sodomy and now hiring a prostitute. Anwar also have gone to jail for few years ( I cant remember the figure) but still she is still there for him. In fact, I think the reason why Anwar still active right now is because of his wife. Well, just like Ummar bin Khattab said,

"Laki-laki sukses itu dilihat dari dua hal. Yg pertama siapa Ibunya dan yg kedua siapa Istrinya."
We, teenagers are eager to find our partner. Some have already date with each other and some find dating is wrong and choose to marry first. Either way, we never certain the relationship will last forever. I no expert on this one but what I can say is relationship collapsed due to different of interest from both side.

So, find a partner like Anwar get Wan Azizah so that she will be with you when you working for your goal in life but the main question is

What are your goal in life?

Race, Islam and Akmal Alep.

Bismillah,

I have being surprisingly unproductive for the past week due to things I've done for this past week. Of course all of those thing is the thing that will never bring me to Jannah.

Astaghfirullah.

Anyway, I got lot of thing to be said. I've thinking a lot for the couple of days about what's happening now to the world, Malaysia or in my organisation as well. Not really well for any of them.

One of the reason to not thinking a lot because it just bring bad news for me. Ignorance is a blessing? Let talk about this sometimes later.

I have watched one video my friend post on facebook and with His takdir, somehow it's related to what I've been thinking for past couple weeks. With all due respect guys, I can see your point from seerah point of view and I have no intention at all to condem or critict you guys. Perhaps or almost certain your deeds to Allah may be greater than me.

However, this thought is killing me and I have to say this at this blog or else I cant be sleeping at night!! (ok,this is too exaggerating)

Back to what I'm saying, the point is this is only my mere opinion which maybe wrong at all (eventhough I quite confident at it).

For a starter, it's better if we look at population of Malaysia.

Malay 50.4%, Chinese 23.7%, indigenous 11%, Indian 7.1%, others 7.8% (2004 est.)
(taken from CIA-The world Factbook)

For me, it's not very convincing statistic for Malays since they only have a major by only 0.4%. Well, in their defence it's still a big majority against any religion singularly.

But what my major concern is when I try to look at religion convertion rate. Well, someone prefer the word revert to Islam rather than convert to Islam. Let's just use revert to Islam. Surprisingly or rather expected for me, I cant find the data for it. In contrast at Britain, thousands have being reverted to Islam. It maybe a small and insignificant when we compare to the whole population of Britain but we cant deny that it is still a big number.

The problem that we have in Malaysia is Islam is too synonym to Malays to the extend that non-muslim thought that Islam is Malays which is obviously wrong. In Britain, people dont see it that way which make the reversion higher.

Let us not forget Sabah and Sarawak. Just how many Malays at there?

Speaking of which, I remember my friend told me one interesting story. He is Bajau and weirdly, he was denied to enter 'sekolah agama' since he was in standard 2 until he started secondary school but his friend who is Bajau easily got accepted eventhough he just applied it during he was in standard 5. Race vs religion dont you think?

What I'm trying to say is, we got lot of work to do and I didn't agree if we just focusing on one race only because Malaysia in not only consist of Malays. Sorry but I just can't buy it.

Well, I think this is what I believe and it's up to you whether to accept it or reject it. Not really affecting my life after all. But, what do you believe in?

p/s : tahniah pada kawan saya, Akmal Alep kerana mewarisi kerja saya yang tak berapa nak jalan. It was an interesting day for me yesterday.(funny to be exact.hahaha)

What I believe.

After like 5 months, I finally finish reading this book. The book is good but the language somehow is not at my level. Well, in the author defence, the book is disscussing about serious matter thus the complex languange. (or my english is just not good enough)

When I started to read this book, it feel kind off weird when people didn't understand what he's trying to say all this time because I think what he try to say is a simple message and every human by default should agree with it. But on a second thought, things are not that simple and people differ in thought for lot of reason and the reason why I always agree with him might be due to same 'fikrah'. So I started to apply what he saying in this book, 'accepting without judging'.

I learned lot of thing from this book and I highly recomend you to read this book but bear in mind his english is not really simple. One of the thing that he trying to say is why and how Islam is hard to accepted in US and Europe. His argument is very valid and seems like a good solution for me.

Somehow, I think the very same thing can be apply back in Malaysia. We manage to get independance for about 50 years. I live in Malaysia for like 20 years. But how many non-malay friend that I have? How many non-muslim friends that I have? I have become racist without I realise it for 20 years and violated what Quran told me to do. Maybe you guys should be asking yourselves the very same question, how many non-muslim you have in Malaysia?

And I manage to say that Malaysia are multicultural and independent country for 20 years.

Am I pathetic? Yes I do.

Alhamdulillah for allowing me to read this book and open up my horizon and redefine my definition of racist.

Malaysia and Libya

Bismillah,

Couple weeks ago, world are being shocked by 2 uprising in Tunisia and Egypt. Words are spreading about butterfly effest or domino's effect or whatever effect it is. It's a good news in some extent. Now the trend is on Libya.

It's funny though watching how Malaysian reacts about all the cases. I cant remember abput Tunisia but I certainly do remember how they reacted about Egypt.

Lot of emotions and some people go beyond the border to express their feeling. I was so moved with their spirit.

Eh, diorang semangat sebab ramai Malaysian belajar dan tinggal kat sana la.

Seeing how they reacted towards Libya issue makes the statement quite right. Shame on you peoples.

Lot of peoples knows that Libya have worst regime than Egypt.
Gaddafi's family have ruled for over 40 years and no opposition party are allowed to be formed.
No people dare to speak because they will be gone after that.
It just recently the uprising started in Libya but lot of people have died already.

Apehal la diorang nak sibuk2 demonstrasi ni. Aku pegi makan tomyam lagi best.

Yes, you read it right. The statement was come from Malaysian mouth during Egypt issue.
Just imagine, he dare to said those thing when the crisis is related with Malaysian, how about the issue that not directly related with Malaysia?

To those who still feel Tunisia, Egypt or Libya is not their problem, you are right.
Your problem is your AQIDAH.

Weird feeling.

Bismillah,

Semalam melihat di facebook, ternampak status sahabat baru dari mesir yang baru kehilangan nenek dia dan tidak lepas itu, kakaknya pula membuat status yang more or less the same. Semoga dijauhi dari neraka.

Anyway, bukan niat aku untuk berbicara tentang nenek mereka. When I think about myself, same things have occured around 5 years ago to me. Nenek aku meniggal dunia dan what makes my case different from their case is that I've never being told about the incident until few days after that. Maybe it's because i in the middle of examination.

It must be sad isn't it for being left out like that?

To my surprise, I didn't feel that way.
I just feel indifferent.
I thought, 'well, it's just another death. It's normal.'

In my defence, I never being closed with her before. We got language barrier and I always being away from home anyway.

Last year, I lost my auntie due to mysterious sickness. Our relationship can be categorized closed eventhough it's not too closed anyway. I always meet her since our house it's not too far and she always there whenever I visited my other grandmother. I thought I can see her for the last time during summer holiday but she couldn't wait for me. She died when I just started spring exam.

When I speak to my father, he tried to console me and he said stuff like dont worry and dont think too much about it. It's normal isn't it?

But it's not needed actually.

I just feel indifferent. Well I do feel sad for her daughter and son but not for her.
It's just another death.

I actually dont understand whether lot of people feels like me or is it only me?
I wonder how will I fell when I lost my parents or one of my siblings?

Will I think it's just another death again?
Is it bad for having this kind of thought anyway?

Or is it I actually do feel sad but I just dont realized it?
Astaghfirullah

I'm moved.

Aku sangat susah untuk memuji satu movie (unless movie action macam IP Man atau Transformer which I more amazed with the graphic rather than about the movie itself). Antara movie yang aku rasa menarik ialah life is beautiful atau pursuit of happiness. Yet I still failed to find a movie that I considered great or even good which produced by Malaysia.

'Alangkah lucunya (negri ini)' bukan hanya movie biasa.
Ia tidak perlukan lawak-lawak murahan untuk mendapatkan penonton.
Ia mampu menggetarkan jiwa orang yang sebelum ini ignorance pada persekitaran negara.
Ia adalah masterpiece.

Bila agaknya Malaysia mampu mengeluarkan movie yang tidak memerlukan lawak bodoh atau cerita cinta yang sia-sia seperti movie ini?

Respect.

Bismillah,

I used to hold to one principal regarding respect.

We dont ask for respect but we gain it.

I hold it tightly so that if someone didn't respect me, I can think that may be I haven't done enough. But sometimes I hold the principal too tight that I didn't respect other people if I think they haven't done up to my standard. Or in other words, if someone didn't do their work correctly, I wouldn't be able to respect him regardless their age or status.

However, life isn't just black and white. I knew this statement ages ago but until recently I started to grasp what the meaning of it. I have to lessen the grip of my principal and started to think bigger rather than only about myself.

We are all know about Hassan al-Banna. There is one time when he is just about 20-30 years old, there one old guy meet him at his office and started to scold him because the old guy's son start to join Ikhwanul Muslimin. For me that was ridicolous and Hassan Al-Banna got ton of reasons to defend himself or even scold the old guy back. Well, to cut things short, when the old guy finish all his nonsense talk and about to going back to his home, surprisingly Hassan Al-Banna help to take the old guy shoes and put it in front of the old guyso that he can wear it easily. After that, there is no scolding from the old guy anymore.

Do ever heard about PKS( Partai Keadilan Sejahtera)? Well PKS is the 4th largest party in Indonesia(according to last year statistic). We will get back to PKS later.

There is one time in Indonesia, a car hit the car in front of him. If according to our sense, if we are at the car on the front, surely we will feel irritated because it's likely the back car is the one who didn't pay attention on the road. However, the front car driver stepped down from the car and started to say sorry and ask if everything is alright. He even ask if there is anything that he should pay to the back car. Seeing the attitude of the front car driver, the back car driver say it's nothing and the problem solved. When the back car driver enter his car, the old guy that sat in his car just say,'that guy surely from PKS. No doubt about that.'.

It's natural for us to not respecting others if there didn't do the right thing in our eyes but when we able to keep our akhlak and just give our respect to them, it's just a whole new level.

The level that can guide us to Jannah.

We might have a brilliant idea but if our words aren't brilliant, the idea is nothing.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Hassan Al-Banna is the leader of the Ikhwanul Muslimin at that time.
